This project was about the legacy of looking at looking.

Da Vinci backlit by a Warhol projection in a Duchamp toilet-tank assemblage.

The piece presents a dismantled LCD, held in a frame of pipe and flange that doubles as a signal path. A magnifying glass and mouse appear to grant the viewer agency, but a hidden camera tracks the act of looking and returns it as projection—a looping image of the eye. Attention becomes the medium, confronting the logic of search engines and social platforms, where looking is extracted as the product of the exchange
